Do you want a secluded vacation rental? Rent this comfortable cabin on two private lakes and enjoy all Traverse City, Michigan has to offer! The cabin is located near the forks of the Boardman River, which is a scenic river with abundant trout fishing - truly a fisherman's paradise. The serenity of this place will take you away from it all. It is truly a ''getaway'' but yet very close to Traverse City with all of its amenities. We are located within 20 minutes of Traverse City with great restaurants, movie theaters, and shopping. Enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, and bird watching, all on private property right out the front door. Or you can take a wine-tasting tour at the many wonderful wineries in the area. Visit Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, which won the title of Good Morning America's 'Most Beautiful Place in America.' Try your luck at nearby Turtle Creek Casino. You will truly be on vacation without the distractions of wifi and cable. Our 980 square foot cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and is fully furnished, including all linens for the beds, and towels for the bathroom and kitchen. It sleeps 6 people with a queen bed in one bedroom, 2 twin beds in another bedroom, and a queen sleeper couch in the living room. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, and shower. The kitchen area comes fully equipped and has a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. All you need to bring is your food and personal care items. Outside, you will find an outdoor grill. Enjoy walks along the many trails through the woods, catching glimpses of deer, eagles, ducks, and turkeys. Watch the children play down on the beach, catch fish off the dock, or go out in the row boat, supplied with the cabin. Some life jackets are provided. In the evening, enjoy sitting around the wonderful fire pit telling stories and feasting upon s'mores.
During the peak season, our weeks run from Saturday to Saturday. Rates are between $1200 to $1400 per week, plus $75 cleaning fee. Off season, we can rent weekends with a two-night minimum with rates starting at $500. Pets are welcome; pet fee applies. No smoking, please.
